Anthony Marti, known by Tony Marti to his friends will be taking a two-fight win streak into his fight with Dustin Neace this Friday. The featherweight matchup is just one of eight professional fights scheduled for the night of action. MMA Recap's Brent Todd caught up with Marti to talk about the upcoming fight and his training camp.
How'd your training camp go?
It went great. I have been helping other top guys like Clay Guida and Chase Beebe get ready for their fights. It's a great thing we have going on at MTC.
Were you training anything different for your opponent?
I have definitely kicked up my training. I know he's a veteran and the last couple of guys haven't been his caliber.
Was there an aspect of your game you worked more than the rest?
Just been training a lot harder in all aspects.
What are your thoughts on your opponent?
He's had a lot of fights. I know he will be a quality opponent.
How do you see the fight going?
I think I am going to win. Never go into a fight with any doubt.
Any sponsors or people you want to thank?
My trainers and my teammates at MTC, my family, and LVRG clothing.
