The Bellator Fighting Championships has now signed Janne Tulirinta (12-3) and Chad Hinton (6-0) to compete in the lightweight tournament for season 2.  Tulirinta and Hinton will join the likes of Mike Ricci, Carey Vanier, and Ferrid Kheder to add more depth in the lightweight tournament.

Bellator will being their second season on April 8th, which will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Janne Tulirinta is a former police officer from Scandinavia and was a part of Team Finland for the M-1 Challenge promotion.  Tulirinta last saw action when he defeated Ivan Ivanof at "M-1 Challenge 17: Korea" by way of technical knock out in round one.   Of Tulirinta's twelve victories only three of them have gone the distance, as he's finished the majority of his fights by way of (t)ko or submission.

Chad Hinton is from Cincinnati, Ohio and fights out of his own gym called the Cincinnati Mixed Martial Arts Fitness.  Hinton has amassed a 6-0 record, and thus far in his short career he has finished the majority of his fights by way of (t)ko or submission.  In Hinton's last fight, he knocked out Justin Moore at IFC 16 in the first round.
