Aleksander Emelianenko (15-3) will return to mixed martial arts action after a year long lay off.  Emelianenko will meet former Olympic wrestler Eddy Bengtsson at "ProFC: Commonwealth Cup" on April 23rd in Moscow, Russia.

Emelianenko last saw mixed martial arts competition when he took on Ibragim Magomedov back in March of last year.  Since losing to Fabricio Werdum in 2006, Emelianenko has won six straight fights in a row with all the bouts ending in the first round.

Bengtsson is coming in with a 3-1 record and in his last fight, he lost to Alexey Oleinik via submission via punches in round 1.  Despite being a great wrestler, Bengtsson has won his first three fights by way of submission or technical knock out.
