Former Bodog welterweight champion Nick "The Goat" Thompson (38-12-1) will take on brazilian striker Eduardo Pomplano (12-2) at "Shine Fights 3: Mayorga vs. Thomas". The main event of Shine Fights 3 will feature a bout between former three-time boxing champion Ricardo Mayorga against Din Thomas at a catchweight of 160lbs.
Bellator announced earlier today two more participents in the upcoming season 2 middleweight tournament. Jared Hess (10-1-1) who competed in season one's tournament and Sean Loeffler (18-4).
The weigh-ins for Ruckus Entertainment's second show "Ruckus 2" takes place tonight at Venuti's Banquet Hall in Addison, Illinois. The fighters will step on the scale starting at 6pm and the doors are open to the public.

Shane Corbin Promotions will present their first high profile mixed martial arts event on March 19th featuring a headliner with The Bodyshop gym owner and current MFC lightweight champion Antonio McKee (22-3-2). He'll take on Rodrigo Ruiz, a top Brazilian prospect with a record of 12-1. Despite a supporting cast that includes Lodune Sincaid (15-8), EliteXC and M-1 veteran Giva Santana (13-1), Bellator and MFC veteran Jesse Juarez (13-5), and K-1 veteran of both MMA and kickboxing “Mighty Mo” Siliga (3-1), that's not the biggest news concerning the promotion, not by a longshot.
Sarah Kaufman (11-0) is the first female Strikeforce 135lbs champion. Kaufman won the title after defeating top ranked Japanese fighter Takayo Hashi at Strikeforce Challengers 6.
Aleksander Emelianenko (15-3) will return to mixed martial arts action after a year long lay off. Emelianenko will meet former Olympic wrestler Eddy Bengtsson at "ProFC: Commonwealth Cup" on April 23rd in Moscow, Russia.
WEC 48 marks the first time the WEC will hold a pay per view event. Making the most of their debut, the WEC has put up two title fights and three solid other matches.
Vince Ramos will be making his professional mixed martial arts debut on Friday against Danny Black at Ruckus 2. The undefeated amateur fighter took time out of his training camp to talk to MMA Recap's Brent Todd to give his thoughts on the upcoming fight.
UFC Primetime will air as a three part series starting Wednesday night on Spike TV. The series will air at 10:00 p.m. ET and will feature the training regimen of both Georges St. Pierre and Dan Hardy as they head into their title fight for UFC 111.
