The UFC officially announced "Ultimate Fight Night 21: Florian vs Gomi" earlier today. Headlining the event is a lightweight matchup between Kenny Florian (12-4) and Takanori Gomi (31-5).

The event takes place on March 31 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. This marks the first trip back to the state in nearly fifteen years.

Gomi meh meh meh. imo he no longer can compete with
the elite fighters in mma.I am sure there are still Gomi
supporters out there who think he will make a big splash
in the ufc lightweight division.

I think Gomi signed with the UFC about 3 years too late. After his loss to Diaz I think he should have been signed. Not to take anything away from him and what he has done since then, but I think today's UFC lightweights are going to be too big/strong for him.
